I think the problem is people are bidding on it thinking that it is a legitimate item, not realizing that it is a KO.

Unless the Shockwave KO is really worth that much?

I think he means this is a KO.

Not only that, but you can buy that KO any place on the web for about $80. If I could get that kind of turn around I'd be set!

Well he states that it is a "reissue" in the item description. Either this is what KOs are worth nowadays or people are blindly bidding in a mass frenzy and haven't read the description closely enough.
Or...they don't realise that "reissue" in this case means 'unofficial knock off'.

Yeah, the boxart alone looks a little too red. Plus that hose seems very short. My bet is people are not reading. You would be amazed how foolish bidders can be. I once listed a pair of TF Minispies. One (yellow Mazda) clearly was missing its rubsign in my picture. I even mentioned such in the item description. Yet what is one of the questions I get?

"Is the Mazda an Autobot or Decepticon?"

Gee, he really read that description.

Nope, same deal as Jetfire. Too many copyrights to deal with. I think he was originally a Toyco toy.
