I'm basically just interested in Exo-Force.
I am also interested in the new Exo-Force molds. Hope someone could post any pics.
yeah, it's just hard because not many people are even focusing on lego being there. I've found one lego gallery and it had no pictures in it.
A good set for Lego fandom (kinda the equivalent of this site, but for Lego) is Eurobricks.com:
They're usually pretty on top of Lego news. Looks like there are some new Star Wars sets on the front page there (a strange little "TIE Crawler" and a massive UCS Millenium Falcon are the most notable). I'm not sure if they have any Exo-Force pics from Toyfair, but it's a good place to poke around and check.
Dude! They got the TIE Crawler? That's so cool! And so obscure! Awesome!
Hm... seems like the mars mission theme will bring the air pressured travelling tubes from a coulpe of years ago back.
No news on the Exo-Force front since the French toy faire and the US toy faire doesn't even get previews of the new Castle and Mars themes.
There IS however pictures of falls new Bionicle sets, the Toa Mahri. Wich takes a page from the current Barraki lineup and features individual constructions of each Toa figure. Also working chainguns.
They look bloody awesome.
Bionicle is beyond terrible... I can't believe it's even considered a LEGO toy.
There's also the new MTT which blows away the first one..which I originally passed on and is stupid expensive on the secondary market. I'll be getting two of the new one.
If Techic is considered LEGO then Bionicle surely is.
Technic is integrated into normal LEGO constructions otherwise you wouldn't have your Exo-Force or your X-Wing Fighters with working wing constructions or the likes.
If its because ball joints are evil or something not much is needed to connect them to regular sets.
With the new Exo sets utilizing a brick-ball-joint & socket hybrid peice and the crossbar bricks becoming common place it becomes even easyer and the typical Bionicle peices gain tremendous useability.
Bionicle peices is allready used as accent or aestetic bits in Vikings or Races. =)
HOLY CRAP did ya'll see the UC Millenium Falcon???
accurate scale to mini-figs, 33 inches Long (!!!), FIVE THOUSAND PLUS PIECES!!!
and the tie crawler is delightfully obscure. The Jedi Interceptor with Hyperspace ring is pretty dang sweet
The first and third new Exo-Force sets looks cool, but the other one pictured in the link below looks kind of weak
Yeah, these are all ones that we've seen. I really like the new aero booster set. And that lego shop exclusive set, the A11 is damn awesome. But I was hoping they'd show some models for the rest of the year.
Where, Where? I can't find them!?
Ooh 500 dollars - I'm going to have to think long & hard about this one - I love that it's minifig scale though.
Check out the new LEGO Sith Infiltrator.
