Besides Bumblebee's shoulder arm & head? I mean they've got to be out there, I find it incomprehensible that none of it has been leaked or revealed yet. What does Optimus look like? It's pretty frustrating not knowing anything.

There's a title image (do a search in the news forum, should be able to find it pretty easily), but other than that, no not really.

Hasbro has been doing one hell of a job, keeping this under wraps.

We haven't even seen any toy leaks yet. A commendable effort, but by the time Botcon rolls around I think we'll have plenty to see and talk about.

    Agreed.

And you know what, when it is revealed, and everything's laid out for us to see, I'm afraid I'll suffer from sensory overload or something.

    And I will love it.

So what are the toys going to be like? A blend of animated and movie styles?

    I hope so.

With Jeff Kline as head writer, Peter Cullen and Jeff Combs as Optimus and Ratchet respectively, I'm look forward to this series more than before.

Didn't I read somewhere that the GI Joe Renagades toyline doesn't start until the fall of 2011? Maybe it's the same thing with TF Prime... and that's why there have been no toy leaks.

OMG I hope I don't have to wait until fall 2011 for new TF toys. The movie line always puts me at an all time low as a fan. Thanx to third party items, WFC and some new classics figures my interest is peeking again.

That being said I really need a new AMERICAN series with toys.

I think we will be overloaded by BOTCOn with info.

No way. That TF in the "Hub" logo clearly looks like Movie Bumblebee, who pratically is the most used character design of any movie TF, and for Hasbro to take the cash cow character from the cash cow movie series and rename him would confuse the HECK out of people, and that's easier to do than it would seem.

Plus, the kids know Bumblebee, NOT Hot Shot. For all his jaAm infamy, that's an internet joke that Hasbro's main market (kids) don't really understand, plus Armada Hot Shot really only had two toys (original mold and the Universe version) while Bumblebee would have a toy in every size class if Hasbro could figure out a way to do it.

My guess as to why "Hot Shot" even exists is that at the time of Armada, Hasbro didn't have the TM to either "Bumblebee" or "Hot Rod". The live action movie's "Hot Shot" was called "Bumblebee", so that's what they called TF:Animated "Hot Shot".

So now that Bumblebee = Hot Shot, I guess it's moot.

And we'll probably never see another Hot Shot again.

Absolutely! When Hasbro showed part of their "Transformer School" presentation that they used to teach the Movie-folks about the TF brand and lore, Armada "Hotshot" was included on their Bumblebee visual-design history slide. Pretty much cementing that within Hasbro's walls HotShot was always meant to be the 'Bee in the first place.

Which makes that whole era make SOOO much more sense, IMO....

I'm sure every toy in the whole line will be stolen about an hour before the big presentation and totally blow the surprise.

I hope not. I like surprises.

I'm thinking we'll see a sizzle or trailer at Botcon. Something awesome to get people talking.

Hasbro always saves a trailer for San Diego Comic Con. Just like Animated, we'll get a sizzle, and that's it.
