    Because so far:

    The only talks TV.
Gets his legs blown off and somehow gets them back.
And seems to be a little immature.

    You thoughts?

It's a radio, not a TV. But I get your point. And I don't see how him being immature makes him seem like a Junkion. Hes just one of the younger bots like the twins.

No. They're trying to turn him into a cash cow.

This. They are making him more... "cute" to increase kid shirt, pajamas, toy sales, etc..

I've seen the parralels drawn before but they're most certainly not on purpose. The Junkions were probably the last thing on their mind when developing Bee.

    Radio. Not TV.

Damn Sirius corrupting our youth and giant robots.

He doesn't "somehow" get them back. There is a doctor (kinda) on the team.

Because he's young. Bumbebee's always been the kid of the team. Here's no different.

Well its more probably inspired by the old G1 Marvel comics where BB looses his voice after taking damage can't talk to the humans he is with.

Also trying to make BB TFs answer to G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes.

I still find it funny that Ratchet can manage to rebuild legs but not his vocaliser. Bet he's putting it one just for the attention :lol

Actually, it was partially inspired by E.T., plus the initial idea by the studio that none of the robots were supposed to talk, which was overruled by Hasbro.
