The bots you mention have nothing to do with the G1 show.

Unless you use Fallback as your Outback but, that is really stretching it.

I know nothing about them really. I thought they were from the comics or something.

Fallback is an Outback homage; his profile is directly referencing Outback, and he's a recolor of ROTF Brawn just like Outback is a retool of G1 Brawn. The name Fallback is due to Outback being unavailable to Hasbro, it was first used at Botcon 2005 for their version of Outback (who was the G1 version as an Energon Strongarm recolor). However, even though he's based on Outback, he is likely a Movieverse Outback and not a G1 update.

Mindset is a very backwards homage to the Marvel G2 comics. There was a briefly appearing character in that series named Mindset, who was part of Jhiaxus' "other" faction (they called themselves Cybertronians, they used the G2 Decepticon Toy insignia). The Hailstorm toy was made as an homage to Mindset, and he was a Decepticon. Then, they retooled him with a new head and released him as an Autobot that's actually named Mindset. His profile makes him sound like an homage to Jhiaxus' faction, but the fact that he's an Autobot makes him not the same as G2 Mindset.

Basically, they're the only RTS toys that aren't G1-Classics updates. You could argue that since RTS is a Classics extension, then Fallback MIGHT be a G1 Outback, but it's difficult to prove with no fictional appearances.

EDIT: Abrogate beat me to it and said it better than I did. Read his post and feel free to make your choices, knowing that.

not really for the main collection but for kitbash fodder.

    RTS fallback.

    - the head would make a great non-distinct head for a junkion.
    - the bot mode has the car parts outside. how do i say this remove the bot parts you get the shell of a car. check jarrod's soundwave. same principale.
    - double guns would look good on anyone.

    RTS mindset
    - i don't know what to do with this kid.
