I've noticed a few times that typically organic labels were used when discussing Cybertronian parts (veins & brain)

so are the writers afraid of technobabble or are the Cybertronans just using organic analogs?

I think they just say that because they're on Earth.

I imagine it's because they've been residing on earth mainly. I mean, they say brain, but they don't necessarily have to possess an organic one to use the word they could just be using the term to refer to their own control centers. As for veins(sp?), it can be argued that they're using the technical variation since their is such a thing as vanes in a turbine engine. They don't serve the same purpose as an organic's veins, but the term is still there.

Really though, if Cybertronians are willing to blend into their surroundings physically it makes sense they'd also try to alter the language to better suit the environment.

Wires and cables for robots are essentially the same as veins are for us. So why not just refer to them as veins?

Note the Allspark was mentioned in ep 1. Techno-organic? No. Bio-mechanical? Yes.

Note also they also have stages of development. With Scout class and Warrior class.

As for veins they run on Energon which their blood.

I don't think they're robots (at least not in the terms that we see robots).

They are an alien species that think, feed, feel, hurt, heal, age and die. One would have to assume that something inside them (organic or something else entirely) differentiates this metallic alien race from our simple robots comprised of wires and chips.

They're on Earth, they're using earth terms because they're speaking english, it's that simple.

They're ALIEN ROBOTS after all, they probably got stuff like veins and a brain etc. nothing our shitty earth machinery could compare to. It would make sense for Megatron to say GRAAR WHAT ARE YOU DOING INSIDE MY HEAD-USB-DRIVER?!

This has already been discussed. (very recently) They're not techno-organic, but robot talk makes for very stilted and awful dialogue, so they use "human" terms when applicable.

Robot talk has only ever jived for me with Beast Wars, and that's just because the voice actors were so believable in their delivery. Here it wouldn't work.

No, he was offended when Raf jumped to the conclusion that because they were robots, somebody built them. Very different things.

Judging from what was inside the first Vehicon Bulkhead fought, Imma say they are robots with wires and chips.

I didn't see a thread on the matter, so I thought it would be ok to make one to ask.
    that is true
In watching that scene again I am wondering if some of those were "veins" ?
& if they were, why didn't the vehicon bleed? though it was still a fairly brutal scene.

I could be just over thinking it.

No, but I'm sure the automotive modes can "backfire" :D

Yep, he did..maybe he preferred the movie vernacular..Autonomous Robotic Organisms.....
Either that, or based on what he had seen of Earth robots and was insulted by that comparison. :D

    This isn't the films.

I assume no real reason, the writers are just trying to make sense with kids watching it.

    Cliffjumper bled.

Megatron even stated that their flesh tone (or whatever) loses all colors, turning gun metal gray after death. Robots don't do that.
