I'm quite tempted in an insane way to pick up jazz, bumblebee and prime from this line with the possibility of screamer and ratchet later on my only problem is I dont know anyone who has touched them with a barge pole and woud like some input on them.

Any help would be appreciated before I drop my lettuce yo! on these phat lookin bots!

I've only bought a few, but I like the ones I've bought. The transformations are simplistic at best and there isn't much articulation...but they are still fun to fiddle with. My latest FAB acquisitions were Smokescreen, Ramjet & the redeco'd Prime.

    I have the FAB Bumblebee.
Its a nice toy. The shoulder/door joints are a bit flimsy, but the car is nice and the robot mode is decently articulated.

Its a style, you either like it or not. However its a good toy.

Woah, caps lock is on there buddy.

Like yourself, I don't know anyone that actually got them besides Frenzy because there was no actual Frenz toy. I am tempted to get Prime though

FAB Frenzy is pretty cool. It kept me occupied for a while and a half. Disk launching gimmick FTW!

I might get a Ramjet or Smokescreen, but I don't really know any more.

Fixed it myself so Lance and Llamatron don't have to bother.

I have Frenzy, Fireblast Prime (or whatever he's called), Ramjet, and Smokescreen.

Prime is kinda cool... decently posable, fun action feature, good proportions and sculpt details. His truck mode is cute, as well. Ramjet's color scheme is great, and while he lacks posability his little flip-out claw feature is mildly enjoyable. He's adorable as a squat little mini-Seeker. Again, vehicle mode is cute and stubby.

But in my personal opinion.... stay the hell away from Jazz/Smokescreen. Holy cow, what a waste of a mold. I know the line is aimed at young kids, but you can't convince me that that kids prefer figures without working elbows. And there is NO REASON the mold couldn't have had them... especially considering the level of articulation in the equally-priced deluxe-class figures.

Frenzy.... eh, well, at least he turns into a boombox. Robot mode is laughably terrible, but almost in a good way.

Overall I'd say, with the exception of Prime, leave FAB's to the kids... they're not really worth what you'll pay for 'em.

Frenzy's the only one I have and he's cool but I've had my hands on others and imo they stink big time and should be at the 'basic' price point.

Only one I have is the only one I'd recommend (the others don't seem like they are worth picking up with much better representations available), Frenzy.
