    I was wondering if classics(1.0?) are still in stores, or they are gone for now?

    Trying to complete my Classics 1.0 and BBTS has the Jetfire and Grimlock set for 37.00, do you guys think this would be the best price I would be able to find them for?

    Thanks

    Realistically they're gone from stores perminently. Unless they somehow get a re-release, you won't have much, if any luck finding any in a store. You might get really lucky and find one in the clearance stuff, but even that's very unlikely. I once found an Energon Scorponok in the clearance stuff just last year, with a price tage of something like $26, so it's not completely impossible. You're better off buying the ones you need off of a fellow board member in the junkion exchange. I was able to get ahold of two Skywarps from fellow board members (one to display, and one to kitbash as Thundercracker), and both were reasonably priced.

    Ebay:
    If you want them right away BBTS is a fair price, especially if you're buying other stuff and can cut down on shipping. If you're really patient you can try to buy them off the boards.

    BBTS scenario 1 - Buy It Now (instant gratification)
    Jetfire/Grimlock = $37 + $9 shipping = $46

    BBTS scenario 2 - Pile of Loot (depends on what the other item is)
    Jetfire/Grimlock = $37 + $5 shipping (reduce shipping from other purchases) = $42

    Board Scenario 1 - A La Carte (have to be patient and look for it)
    Jetfire $15-$20 + $5 shipping = $20-$25
    Grimlock $8-$12 + $5 shipping = $13-$17
    Total = $33-$42

    Board Scenario 2 - Lucky Load (even more patient)
    Jetfire/Grimlock = $23-$32 + $7 shipping = $30-$39

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

    Its funny I remember them being on shelves like it was literally last week. I guess time flies when you are getting old.

    I got the first wave of them, but now I am really kicking myself in the butt for not picking the rest up when I had the chance.
