There had better, because I really want to have Prime Ratchet sitting on my desk in a year.

they would HAVE to have toys planned for their essential reboot of property. but im with most folks in that they have RtS/HftD line currently with the DotM line coming next year. i suppose they want to make sure the shows even going to work before they focus on their new toys. Hasbro has this AND the new GIJoe franchise to handle. (october 2011 seems slow on the strike personally but its not my company lol)

The production process is such that the toys have to be designed long before they intend to sell them. Also the presence of GI Joe is irrelevant, it's not the same team handling them, and Hasbro has more than 25 years of experience handling several properties simultaneously just fine, GI Joe wasn't invented last year.

It's gonna be a long wait for those toys. I can't wait for the G.I.Joe Renegades toys over the Prime toys though. I heard from somewhere that they'll be more realistic like PoC.

Hasbro said when the show was first announced that toys were not in development AT THE MOMENT, but later information releases said they were working hard on them. So they are in the works, we'll be seeing prototypes before long, and before 2011 is over, we'll have the first few waves of toys. I'm really looking forward to this, especially the inevitable Eradicon toy. That's one of my favourite designs from the show actually, it better be awesome considering we'll be seeing it every episode! XD

Of course there will be toys for DOTM, as well as toys for Prime. The only reason the TV shows and movies are made is to make money and sell toys (therein making even more money). I just think it's a case of Animated again, and we probably won't see the toys on the shelf for at least six months after the show starts, if not longer.

I don't think so, because I'm pretty sure Hasbro and the retailers dislike money.

I'm gonna give the internet a hint. This franchise exists soley to make money from merchandise. It's cartoons are adverts so are its films.

    Yes you are getting toys.

I am sure they would make some but I don't think they will come out till next yr though sometime in the spring or maybe summer. I have NO plans to buy ANY of them cause frankly the cartoon really sucks for being a TF cartoon which I really hate cause I love TF's but from what I seen on the Hub tonight from the commercial I hate the look of it already.

Wow what a strange concept...to judge and form an opinion without actually seeing an episode. Bravo, you're clearly the smart one.

In regard to the guy who started the thread, you guys may want to think about this: Not everyone has time or the inclination to check TFW 2-3 times a day every day. Don't make fun of a guy just because he doesn't have his head shoved up the fandom's arse every day.

Can we get a giant sticky in this forum saying "THERE WILL BE TOYS GOD DAMMIT" so someone doesn't go and post yet another topic about the probability of a toyline?

That is a bit odd that they can judge the entire toy line based upon nothing but a short ad for the cartoon series.

Personally I'm kind of excited to see how Hasbro is going to pull some of the figures off. It seems like some of them are going to be really tough to pull off and yet Hasbro has pulled off movie figures that people said they could never do so just about anything seems possible.
