Did anyone catch the premier episodes of Archer last night on FX? Funny stuff. I think it would have had more of a fit on Adult Swim since it was so over the top but I'm planning on watching more of this and seeing if it has staying power.

I haven't seen it yet, but Frisky Dingo was my favorite American cartoon of the decade and I can't wait for more of the same.

It's got some similarity to Dingo, at least in the animation style. Are the same guys responsible for both shows? Some of the lines on Archer were way over the top:

Guy torchering Archer as a training exercise: What if I were a KGB agent?
Archer: you'd be sucking a promition out of some Russian cock.

Hilarious and raunchy. Not to mention there was a little bit of nudity. Those are things I never saw on Dingo (although, in all fairness, I've only seen about five episodes).

It's a little too much like Frisky Dingo for my liking. Almost as if they just toned down the original concept and put it on FX. Still funny though.

I wish I had a DVR to be able to see the episodes again. Anyone know if they're posted online?

It's like Frisky Dingo mixed with The Office and Arrested Development. Funny, but not very original.
