Not a fan of her face though, then again, this is just a prototype, right?

Sorry, but Seibertron failed at the news. That is not the Impossible Toys TRNS-01 Arcee figure. Just a custom figure someone made. There was a news thread on it back in September. No information was given.

Really? Because everything else points otherwise, including this interview with Impossible toys at Tformers:

Updated - Impossible Toys Generation 1 Arcee Action Figure on the Way Transformers

    The Impossible toys website:

    page1

    and this prototype image here:

I mean, maybe you just know something I don't or can reference something I haven't seen...maybe this 'custom' work is someone getting ahold of the prototype and painting it up.

But a custom artist making plastic molding in the same shape and style as the impossible toys one seems unlikely. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

Long as it's more stable the the Rabid Squirrel figure and not a motorcycle, I dig. I want me some G1 Arcee.

That looks both incredibly awesome and incredibly crap at the same time. Something about the plastic makes it look like the quality is so shit it would crumble just looking at it. But at the same time, the design of the figure itself is pretty sweet. The head looks slightly off, but other than, nicely done. I could see that on a Classics shelf quite easily.

Considering the images above look nothing like this one I'd say "FAIL"

The ARCEE above looks alot like A.R.C.

But yeah it could easily be a fan-made model too.

Oh look! You put the word 'fail' in big capital letters. Alert 4Chan because we're going to need a new meme.

Honestly, if you can't understand that between a prototype/work-in-progress and a more polished finished/show-piece product there are going to be changes...

But the proto picture has a lot of small differences compared to the images first posted...

Oh, no doubt there are small differences.

And perhaps they are different piece of product. I'm not saying I know with 100% certainty.

But getting all into this "FAIL" garbage in otherwise civil conversation is just lame.

Even if you're right, and this is the work of Impossible Toys, aren't you essentially jumping to conclusions?

The proportions and design look similar, but they also look similar to several other Arcees that've been done over the years. That's not some amazing coincidence, it's because they're all based on the same source material.

alright I'll change what I said to simply saying that Impossible toys clearly ripped off Rapid Squirrel's A.R.C. design and simply changed the head to being a non headmaster.

you don't believe me? here ya go...

CyberFembots - You know you want one.

i'm tiring of fan companys ripping each other off to make a profit but oh well, such is life.

why can't they just simply create their ideas completely from scratch.

I will confess though I really do like this Arcee's head better than A.R.C's head.

I really hope when all is said and done that Impossible toys version is at the very least, DELUXE SIZE

at least they did some minor little things to make it a bit more toon accurate :)

I do happen to know something. Thats why I can confirm 200% that the above photos in the original post are not the Impossible Toy's TRNS-01 figure. However, feel free to PM me for further proof. :)

The Impossible Toy's version only has the same elements as the A.R.C. design, as what A.R.C. took from the custom below. Impossible Toy's used the custom below for their inspiration, which A.R.C. used as well. Their is some bad blood I guess between Impossible and Cyberfembots, so I'm sure Impossible does their best to stay away from them. Also, the guy behind Cyberfembots accused Impossible for stealing his design, until Impossible showed better photos, at which point Cyberfembot acknowledged the designs were different. I have a feeling the arcee from the photos from the original post are made using the Cyberfembot figure, as they really do share more similarities. Even in altmode, the weapons are store behind the seats like the A.R.C. version.

That old japanese custom made back in the 90's is still the best, IMO.
