It's been discussed before. I just happen prefer the Princess Leah look of the animated movie Arcee. Vs. the google eyed gangly insect Arcee appears to be in the TF2 movie.
Are they keeping her small so she can fit in or through any place a human can go?

 

We don't know anything about Arcee for movie 2. And as for the google-eyed remark: I never found the first concept to be "google-eyed".

 

She doesn't look googley eyed at all.

 

I think she needs to look a little more feminine.  

I still want to know how they'll explain a female though.

 

I prefer Energons Arcee's face.

 

Sorry. I meant Arcee animated movie and G1 = Princess Leah = good.
TF2 The Fallen Arcee = google eyed, bug eyed, gangly = not so good.

I like movie Arcee alot so I'm hoping they use a modified version of that for TF2. I don't understand the googly eyed comment either, on the toy and design pics her eyes are more like slits. But as you said it's your opinion.

They should stick with what they designed for the first movie. Though if it were me in charge, I'd change her robo-beret. Just doesn't sit right with me.

Bay Arcee's head design always seemed a bit strange with unsymetrical sides, but the rest of her body design is fine with me.

Animated G1 Arcee always struck me as a little too Princess Leah-ish.

 

How bout we just dont have arcee at all, Id be more happy with that.

I always found G1 arcee to be more 70s-ish in hair style whereas 07 movie toy was more late 80s punkish hair style.

Personally, I tend to prefer the 07 toy design for the movie version. Though I too would like to know how they approach females, though I expect it may explain some of BB's perverse habits like instigating mating rituals within himself.

 

They'll explain it the same way they explain a dude. It just happens, don't read too much into it.

 

Why would arcee need explaining? It's obviously going to be PG-13 again? Even if kids go with there parents "generaly" The audience of a movie as such would most likley have teenagers....but on the other side of the spectrum they might have to explain it...maybe women of cybertron were banished from the planet until the men could assure tranquility in a sort of "Titanic-esqe" tie-in.

 

If they explained it it like okay this was a good movie till they had to ruin it with boring bullshit! The every one exits the theater ROFL!

 

I don't think they need to explain it at all. WALL-E and EVE didn't need any explaining but they were so obviously male and female.

Anyways, the original art/model that the movie figure is based on is perfect. I love that color and design. I think the face is pretty cute once you look at it long enough.
