I want a Chromedome bodied Arcee just for the novelty factor.
As a novelty and not the "better" representation, that I can get behind. Question is do you package her with Rewind-bodied Springer, Rewind-bodied Hot Rod, or both and call it "Arcee's Choice"?
I really wouldn't mind TR Arcee reusing the mold of Blurr. The final product looks like Arcee afterall.
They can save the Chromedome mold for Minelba. Or even better, give us a new mold, one that is more "feminine" looking.
Ive decided, Im definitely gonna go for this. By the way, I have zero interest in the Magnus head so if anyone wants it I may be open to selling it.
...I hear his all the time. Not only is it inaccurate because the Blurr mold is already one of the slimmer TR molds, but women also don't all look the same.
There was supposed to be another Wreck-Gar? What was the mold?
Someone found an entry in a Walgreens computer system for an exclusive deluxe Wreck-Gar. No info other than that, but with PotP coming up (and having combiners again), some people were guessing it might be a retool of Deluxe Groove.
No but it's nice when a female LOOKS female to differentiate from the males. It's ok to have exceptions like Strika and Prime Starscream, but the majority should at least look like the gender they're supposed to represent.
In any case, I think TR Arcee looks fine and she'll join my shelf upon purchase.
But that's the point of figures like Slash, Nautica, and Arcee. Men and women have incredibly diverse looks and body types. Women aren't all hips and lips and dudes aren't always muscle-bound.
I just got one today, and I have to say it's a decent figure. Very crisp colors and every bit as solid as Blurr.
I do prefer the T30 version by miles, but this is still a great representation.
Good luck to all going for the score!
Wow wow sir... how are we supposed to reinforce gender stereotypes and tell kids what they are supposed to look like. Geesh,.you can't just throw out decades of propaganda for a more realistic representation of society. Look at what the Egyptians did to Akhenaten. Lol
Thats right, i want my arcee with a beer gut or at least barefoot and preggo.
Comes with a trailer. Trailer park trailer that is. Transforms into food stamps and a welfare check
Ermergerd girl has a body different then what I associate with girl. How do I get boner to this.
Seriously? It's now considered BAD to want a girl to look like a girl? Sure, there's big girls and thin girls and top heavy girls and bottom heavy girls... but at least you can tell they're girls. People must hate Blackarachnia these days... How the hell did this get started? *scrolls up* Oh, people think TR Arcee looks too masculine.
Because realism is important in Transformers toys.
What, was she fat too?
Lol, you mean a he. And yes he was depicted with a pot belly and fugly face
If your into history I recommend looking him up. One of the most interesting and controversial figures in Egyptian history. They assassinated(actually unsolved mystery)his ass and tried to erase him from history
If realism isn't important, why should designers have to make sure male and female robots have stereotypical body types?
I mean, sure, if you want to take a chainsaw to your own argument by all means go ahead.
Not to pour water on the strawman you've set ablaze, but the problem isn't a figure looking like Blackarachnia, it's *all* of them looking like Blackarachnia.
Same reason why I'd get bored if all figures had Bulkhead's beer gut or Prime Starscream's design.
It's why it's cool RiD has Strongarm, Windblade, and Shatterspike.
On that I agree. I don't even know what the hell we're arguing about. I can tell Strongarm and Windblade are female. Shatterspike... I'm pretty sure is an afterthought, but still. It's all cool. Someone said Arcee should look female, is how this started. I agree. That's how she's always been portrayed. I think the TR one is undeniably female.
Separate names with a comma.
