Just bought my RID Arcee. Haven't opened it yet.

What do you all think was the inspiration for Arcee's design?

 

The TF 2007 Target Exclusive Arcee repaint of Energon Arcee.

Their both blue Arcee's.

That's true. I think she also has aspects of Animated Prowl and Priss from Bubblegum Crisis in her too. A bit of Chromia I guess because of the blue color.

In a way she does remind me a bit of Ultraman too but perhaps it's the Tokustu fan in me talking.  

 

I see a little Bubblegum Crisis inspiration in Arcee's design.


That is if that was intentional.

 

For the record, she's also inspired by Movie Arcee.

In Tales of the Fallen, we find out that Movie Arcee's partners were killed too. And she wanted to kill Thundercracker to avenge them.

 

Flashbacks within an episode are still an appearance, as opposed to the previously on segment.

 

And I heard that Cliffjumper's her best friend in Reign of Starscream.

 

Those are quite true.

However the Movie Starscream also killed Movie Cliffjumper like how Prime Starscream took out Prime Cliffjumper with both the Movie and Prime Arcees being ticked off at them.

 

Kaiju, you silly goose. I already told you Movie Cliffjumper lives.

 

I know but the way he was taken down is pretty similer all the same.

 

Starscream is a grave threat to all Cliffjumpers.

Anyway, since Screamer now possesses the totally awesome Apex Armour, do you guys think the next confrontation between them will go?

Very cool then cause I REALLY want that figure then cause of how she looks so awesome standing their on that wood.

 

And both were humiliating in the end because Movie Starscream is GAHH MY EYE HAS A BOMB IN IT and Prime Starscream is everyone's punching bag.

That's one of the many reasons for Arcee being pissed about it.

 

Sure hope that Starscream will go & confront Megatron right away

 

I miss Arcee already.


Did anyone else think her flashback with Tailgate was missing something?

 

Maybe a glimps of her in tears after the scene where Tailgate is killed and perhaps show days of the torture Airachind gave to Arcee at that time?

Just some ideas.

 

I made a "What If" story of how I thought the Tailgate flashback should have gone a while back, but I can't find the thread where I posted it.


It was something about Tailgate as a Autobot traitor and Arcee getting a Scraplet put into her mouth.
