Down at my local hobby shop the owner gave me an idea to remove pins. He said that by taking a pin punch and using with an arbor press, like this one, will make removing them not effortless, but a hell of a lot easier.

Has anyone ever herd of a method like this, or thought to try it?

I just put my items on a bench and hammer them with a pin-popper. I think a wooden surface would be the best but right now I don't have that so my parts are suspended by putting them on a couple metal bars so when I hit the pin it will drop out between the metal bars
