ooh, I like the sound of these. I'll have to do some research to nail down a transformation scheme for them, but I think I can guarantee these two will make it...any ideas on any abilities/mottos??

Treebane could work alongside another new one of mine, LOGJAM, a leaf cutter ant.

Treebane is a being whose jaws not only saw through trees, but the armor of Autobots. His missions in British Columbia lead him to scan the most horrible scourge of the area, the pine beetle. His habit of scanning the most hated insect of an area lead him to this, and he has taken many forms.
    "Need the Amazon cleared?"

Swiftsting is the largest of the diptera Insecticons. His long, sharp stinger/beak and his shape as the insect mistaken for "the giant mosquito" make him a deadly threat. His methods of divebombing opponents and sucking out their Energon are his strong points, and make him an eccelent Insecticon warrior.
"Swoop to sting, swoop to kill, swoop to drain."

    Here's some more:

    Wiggle: Caterpillar, removal
    Chomp: Locust, removal assistant
    Thorax: Wasp, stalker
    Ghostfly: Moth, spy

Woah!!! steady on!! There are millions of different types of insects out there, I can't do them all!! especially as I plan to give them cybertronian modes as well.

I'll go for a different approach with the Insecticons than I did with the Arachnicons- I'll post their insect and vehicle forms simultaneously.....

here's a little teaser image to whet the appetite while I build them all....

Oh, sorry for going a bit overboard on ya! :lol

Of course, you can't do EVERY type of insect, maybe just certain representatives of orders. If you did every specific species ever, it'd take a long time! :lol
I don't think you don't have a representative of Lepidoptera yet. Those are butterflies and moths.
