i understand that, thats why I said 37 foot range. Because we really dont know how much longer it is beyond the 37 foot wheel base specs. But my point still stands, 37 foot to anywhere up to say 40, 41 foot? its still a lot larger than the past trilogy truck and a whole lot larger than the rusted cab over that is also in this movie.

From what I can see from the toy list, they got all of the Autobot so far, except the E-jet. Do you think Hasbro got licensing for that company?

We do know how much longer it is. It's 505 inches long, 42 feet.....

I dont think the mass shifting is going to be an issue. They managed to make it work with Starscream. Most of any vehicle is empty space anyways, even without mass shifting it could fold down quite a bit - especially a semi, which is mostly just a flat frame, easy to fold. That's what they'll have to do. I don't think the size difference will present a problem, certainly not so much to think it'd need to be a different character.

    Not trying to argue here....

im not worried about a 37 to 42 foot truck folding in on itself some to make maybe a 30 to 32 foot OP in bot mode. Im worried how they would take a 22 foot cab over (if it is OP) and also make it transform and grow up to the same 30 to 32 foot OP in bot mode. You see what im getting at?

Hard to know at the moment. It might even just be a 'featured' cameo unnamed Transformer from the Chinese Transformers factory. They specified it not being a Decepticon, though that wouldn't necessarily make it an Autobot either (though I get a feeling a lot of them will become de facto Autobots during the course of the movie).

Yeah, but I really don't think it will be an issue. Trucks are all frame...all it has to do is slide in on itself. They made Laserbeak work pretty great.

Also, if Prime gets powered up by whatever Marky-Mark is carrying, gets some upgrades, etc. A lot could happen in the movie. Prime went from that skeletal protoform in the first one....I think however they do it, it's just going to be quick and not draw a lot of attention to how it is.

There's also the very real possibility that rusty-Optimus will never appear as a robot on-screen. We don't know how much of the film he's in that diguise.

They admitted YEARS ago they cheated with size. Look at bee transforming after the Barricade fight

The first pic is pretty low quality, and the second will probably be quite hard to remove from the background given the low light as well as the angle. Perhaps the silhouette of the first though?
I'm sure we'll have better images soon enough though, perhaps even tonight!

I did, I just didn't post it here. It's just a placeholder until a good render comes out.

Are you going to add Dinobots to the chart?

Dunno why but seeing that Prime render that small makes me really like his design.

I want to add Dinobots but it doesn't seem possible, they're gigantic. Maybe I'll do a different chart for them.

Good start to the scale chart. Thanks TunaKaan!

I think the one thing this chart shows is how the Cons are being kept under wraps.

So... yeah. No dinobots for this chart. Can you imagine Grimlock's bot mode height?

EDIT: Sorry for the repost, just did some minor changes.

Yeah Dinobots would make you're chart way to large indeed. It made sense for the Driller to be part of the DOTM chart because it was just him. If there will be four Dinobots in the film then a separate chart would be required.

Come to think of it, maybe a in that Dinobot chart you can include all the big characters.

Jesus, Grimlock is huge. Imagine having Sludge or the apparent Spinosaurus Dinobot.

He'll be the biggest movie TF. Maybe he'll be a little smaller, but not much.
