Would anyone be interested in starting a roleplaying group that roleplays in private matches in FOC? On PC, that is? Just asking, it might have potential.

Sadly I don't play this on PC, but that sounds like a great idea.

I don't think this would really work, or at least I can't picture it easily. Besides I'm on 360.

Since the Dinobot DLC, I've wanted to roleplay that we're our own custom Dinobots and we hide from other robots in shame of our new forms... things like that.

Whenever I play with the Starscream armor set (which is pretty much whenever I play as a Scientist  ) I act like him. I'll rush into battle when there's other members of my team there, then once they disappear I'll fly away like a coward. :D  Or I'll attack them, and when I die I'll yell "I'll get you next time!". It helps that I have a great Starscream impression! :D

Oh... Well, I don't always use that Starscream voice. I do that one best, but I can also do both versions of Movieverse Starscream's voice, I can do Animated Starscream's voice, but I don't use that one as often as the other two (three) since I'm not as good as that one.

Now I'm really stuck on wanting to roleplay in the game...

But I'm also stuck on how hard it would be to do so.

So, who is here on PC and would be interested? Cause it wouldnt be that hard, really. We would simply make a steam group for our little roleplaying matches and chat there about what our character say and so on. Could also make command likes "Crainy: (Command "Optimus pats Ironhide on the back").

Great, tm11176. Wanna give roleplaying a try?

No, it's not. If you want to be uncomfortable about it, that says more about you than role players. This isn't anything sexual. It's becoming immersed in the world and telling your own stories in that setting. It's no more weird than playing Mass Effect, only this doesn't have predecided outcomes.

I will say role playing a FPS is difficult and I'm not sure it would work, but role playing itself is always fun.

Well, people could use mics to talk and roleplay as their custom robot.

Trust me, it's strange. I'm fully aware it's nothing sexual but it's put in such a way that it can be seen as being sexual.

Sexual or not, it is still odd.

To each their own. There are plenty of people who think adults liking Transformers is odd, but obviously there's nothing wrong with it. It's the same for role playing. There's absolutely nothing strange about it so long as you don't go overboard. I used to do it to help with writing my own stories. It got the creative juices flowing. I don't do it anymore, really because I've just lost interest in it, but I don't judge people who still do it. That's just messed up.

Basically, what you're saying here is, "You're all weird because you like something I don't." Don't be that guy. It's not cool.
