Anyone with a Comm. reissue G1 Tracks? I have a question for you

    What do the markings say at the bottom?

    I won an auction for a Tracks for an x-mas gift for my brother. It was advertised as an 84 original but I just got it today and it has "Made in China" at the bottom and as far as I know no original G1's were made in China.

    I have an original G1 tracks and the Markings are identical except for where made.

    My original says Hasbro, ©Takara 80, 84 JAPAN and the one I just got says Hasbro, ©Takara 80, 84, Made in China.

    I think the one I just got is a Comm. reissue but I have a Prowl Comm. reissue and that says "2002 China".

    Thanks for any help if you have the Comm. reissue Tracks.

    My reissue Tracks says "© Hasbro '80, '84. © '80, '84. Takara Made in China".

    Is it weird that mine doesn't say where it was made? It has the "© Hasbro '80, '84. © '80, '84. Takara" marking, but no made in. It is the commemorative reissue though and I bought it myself at TRU. Or is the made in China in a different location?

    Thanks that is what this one says so I guess I know it is a TRU reissue then.

    The guy said he thought it was an original because it said 80, 84 on it and advertised it as an original G1. He said he would take it back so I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some odd variation before I sent it back.

    The Made in China is in the same location as the other markings - just listed last.
