Anyone who says Prime is bad for killing Megatron...

    People why do you keep saying Prime shouldnt of killed Megatron?

    MEGATRON KILLED PRIME IN THE 2ND MOVIE, and attempted to kill him in the first movie.

    I would not trust anyone to a truce that once successfully killed me and that tried to kill me before.

    You have to remember, however - Optimus once successfully killed Megatron, too.

    Why can't they just call it even?

    Optimus never killed Megatron in the movie-verse. His death in TF07 was because of Sam shoving the Allspark into his chest. Prime may have helped, but he didn't get more than an Assist.

    Optimus also killed Megatron/Galvatron in the finale of Transformers Cybertron. Rammed a sword right through him after a prolonged battle. Galvatron then proceeded to magically disintegrate into space dust.

    Its sort of like a contest: Who can kill each other most. ;)

    Started the War Because He wanted Power, The Autobots
    Just wanted their Freedom, and Freedom for Others
    If Megatron Really wanted a truce, He should have
    Through down his Weapon, and get on his Knees and
    Tell Prime he's Sorry, But megatron is to Pride full
    and would Never settle for peace. Optimus
    Knows Megatron, and All he's tricks, And He knows
    He'll never Stop at one, Megatron had to be Stopped.
    Optimus had Only one Arm, and Only one Shot and He took, it
    Before Megatron Could Kill any more Autobots and Humans.

    I don't understand why people think Megatron would just stop being evil for no reason.

    Who said Prime shouldn't have killed Megatron?

    From what I'm hearing, it was the way that he killed him, not *that* he killed him.

    Megatron didn't Mean to Save Optimus He
    was Ticked At sentinel Because he was threatening
    his Rule as Decepticon Leader He just wanted To Kill
    Sentinel He would deal with Optimus Later

    No I think what they're getting at isn't that Prime shouldn't kill Megatron it's that Micheal Bay cheated us out of a proper one on one showdown between the two and instead we get one lousy sucker punch and the movie's over.

    Yeah, I'm not a fan of the last two films' abrupt endings. Prime may aswell run around with his shotgun going "Boom! Headshot bitch!"

    I'm just tired of all those who say "why did he kill him? he saved him and wanted a truce". Optimus just did what he had to do for the greater good. Surely those guys wanted them to have a civilized conversation with "Why can't we be friends?" as musical background.
