I purchased the Bruticus Maximus set and I want to mod the current Brawl and make it look more G1 looking. I was hoping to use the turrent off of the G1 Brawl but I don't know how big/small it will be on the BM version of Brawl. Anyone who owns a G1 Brawl or Armorhide if you wouldn't mind, please send me the dimensions of the turrent so I can decide whether I can use the turrent on it or not and pick one up on eBay. I'd appreciate the help!

 

most combiner bots r tiny. i'd say probably an inch and a half long n a inch wide plus half a inck height

 

I think this is correct as it can be, by just looking at the thing, not measuring it (I'm lazy, I need to go through almost a third of the shelf to take Ruination out to measure it).

 

Do either of you have Bruticus Maximus and know if the turrent from the G1 toy would be scale for it? I'd hate to buy a G1 and not have it fit. I'm trying to save up money to buy YR's upgrade kit.

 

Why don't you buy a RID Armorhide? It would cheaper instead of buying a G1 Brawl.

 

I was going to go that route since it's the same toy. Ebay has them for around $15 which isn't a lot but still, if I can't use it for what I want it's money wasted that could have went to the upgrade kit.  

 

I understand. I would suggest you post a "wanted" thread on this forum and look for either a loose figure or a junker, or go to flea market and see what you can find there (if you have a flea market where you leave).

 

Measured off G2 Brawl as the others are packed away:

Height: 1cm / 6/16ths inch.
Width: 3.1cm / 1.25 inches - at widest point at the bottom, it's slightly flared.
Length: 4.3 cm / 1 + 11/16ths inches - without barrel.
Length: 7.3cm / 2 + 14/16ths inches - with barrel.
