I just happened to catch this on Scifi a week or so ago. I think it's just started. It's a really interesting take on Voltron. Some of the changes I like some of them I don't. It seems to be mostly more serious in tone. I don't like that they changed the music so drastically from the cartoon.

    So, anyone else seen this?

It's on Scifi at Midnight. I though it was .... underwhelming. The story was interesting, but the whole motion comic thing just left me wanting.

The comics themselves are really good as a reboot of the storyline, but the motion comic does nothing for me... and not because it looks like it was animated in Flash, but the voice acting. It's fine in normal scenes but then it goes into action scenes where everyone sounds bored, not like they're, I dont know, risking their lives battling a giant monster inside a giant made of mechanical lions.

Syfy's also been airing Street Fighter motion comics which are better done in my opinion.

Hmm. I didn't know about this. From the sounds of it though, if I want a darker Voltron, I think I'll stick with my GoLion DVDs...

Well, now I can't find it in the dvr listings. I was curious to see where it was going, or did they just not make anymore after the vehicle Voltron one? I never read the comics so I still would like to see where they are going and what other changes they made. I do like that Pij actually looks male in this version since that's what was originally intended as far as I know. I also like the mental connection to pilot the lions.
