Ok, so we've seen a lot of remakes for characters, especially lately due to Hasbro's new gimmick, the Mech-Tech weapons. But there is one character that has received few second glances, most likely because of his death.

But would you, the Transformers fans, want to see a remake of Deluxe Jazz from the movie-verse? Perhaps one with less bulk and more sleek posability. I wouldn't mind the Mech-Tech so long as this Jazz is a completely new mold from the original.

 

I would, because I would enjoy writing the angst my current Jazz (and star of my webcomic) would feel at one coming out.

 

As someone who missed the first movie Jazz, I'd like one. Although, it would be damn-near impossible to top the Human Alliance, from what I hear.

 

I'd definitely be interested in a new Movie Jazz mold. I have the premium one, and the only good things I can really say about it is that it has a nice paintjob and the head is pretty good (then again, that's probably only due to the lightpiping). Everything else could use a major overhaul.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing it happen, but at the same time I don't think I would buy it. Really depends on the execution of said mold.

However, a third Deluxe class mold of Jolt with another variation on his design is something I wouldn't hesitate to get (the new one we're getting in DotM is likely to be my first purchase from the line).

 

I do. I like the original but the arms suck. A new one with modern engineering would be tits.

 

Sure, why not? Blackout has been dead since TF1 and his CyberVerse figure rocks hard! A Jazz in that style, all updated properly, would be nice to see.  

 

I really appreciated the HA Jazz we received awhile back, but I'd love a remake of Jazz in Deluxe size so I can maintain decent scale with the rest of my collection.

 

It would be incredibly hard to top the HA mold. If they could do it, sure why not? I would rather them focus their efforts on the new stuff though.

 

As would I. A new Jazz could be something they release well after the DOTM film is released. Like a character to be included in a much later wave while they still utilize the Mech-Tech gimmick.

 

We had Human Alliance Bumblebee come along, whose excellent engineering later led to the fantastic Battle Blades Bumblebee. The DOTM Deluxe class Barricade picked some things up from his Human Alliance counterpart.
I can't speak for the new deluxe class Skids and Mudflap, because I don't own their HA figures. But I'm hard pressed to say that they probably got their fair share of influence from the ROTF HA.
HTFD Voy. Optimus has plenty in common with the ROTF Leader.

With this pattern of figures being released later down the pipeline with much in common with a previous release, or released on account of a previous release being popular, I would both expect, and want a new Deluxe class Jazz with engineering in common with his HA counterpart.

 

I didn't buy the first, and I'd be interested in a new mold. It isn't impossible, I mean.. Jolt did get a new DOTM mold for some reason.

 

I would love a new movie Jazz. I've always loved movie Jazz's design.

Jazz is one of my favorite movie characters. I would totally buy a new deluxe, but if we never got one I am perfectly content with the HA version.
