Kind of an odd question, so I'll explain:

I set up my exercising equipment so that my toe bar for sit-ups is oriented towards my collection. Each time I do a sit-up, I see my collection of Alternators Autobots, whom are, amongst other things, a neat symbol of strength. They remind me of the charismatic, enthusiastic autobots from the first few years of G1 and, therefore, they give me a sense of strength while exercising. Autobots never give up, and neither will I!

Anybody have any similar experiences re: motivating yourself to accomplish a goal with Transformers?

As a writer by hobby (and hopefully profession someday) I like having mine displayed in my room as a source of inspiration. Over 500 in my collection and each one is their own character and personality, even if they share the same base (original, Pretender, and Classics Bumblebee) there's different quirks and aspects to them. Some of my characters are even inspired by amalgamations of some Transformers.

Newscast>And eye witnesses say that when one co-worker grabbed his leg, begging him to stop the violence, the suspect responded with "Such heroic nonsense" before squirting them with the water gun.

Probably not what you mean, exactly, but I sometimes use the general color schemes of TFs for the heraldry of houses in my stories when I run out of ideas.
