Okay, I'm trying that! Watch this space... :p

    [EDIT]

Right, here you go - or at least I assume this is the idea. You need to fold down the gun handle a bit and fit that into the neck socket (which pretty much means resting it, rather than plugging), in order to support the weight. I suppose there's the tiniest bit of articulation there, in that the gun handle allows you to tilt the 'head' up and down, and the loose fit means you can turn it left or right a smidge. On the down side, it looks fraggin' ridiculous, and as I said, the handle just rests in the socket, and isn't gripped at all.
On the whole, it's an interesting idea, but I don't think Cerebros need worry about his job security just yet... ;)

It looks neat and cool in a certain way. I think it would look much better if Laserbeak was in a matching color scheme.

Well, it's interesting at least. Maybe if the colors matched a little better it would look better. Thanks for being the guinea pig and taking pictures.

I guess if there was ever a need for an Omega Sentinel type of Fort Max's that's what they'd look like.

Pleasure. Soon as I read it, I had to give it a go... :p

    Yes. Yes, you really do.
Especially if you've got Micromasters and/or the good Minicons. Micro Devastator looks kickarse attacking his city mode.

Max + Micros = EPIC WIN.

    Yes.

Unanimous decision about needed repaint of Lazerbeak.
i think the whole lens-eye thing would look cooler (a la Shockwave's one eye) but since i want to keep Max's parts all together, i am not rushing out to a flea market so i can repaint me a Lazerbeak.

    thanks for the pics.

Many years ago it was also found the beast machines big head megatron fit perfectly on to brave max as well. Which is how mine is displayed.

Everyone knows, but it should be stated that Megabolt Megatron can be used in a similar way.

You know, I never noticed before, but somehow Max looks really perturbed in that picture.

    Don't ask me how...

Although I'm actually so tempted to repaint Laserbeak to fit Max's colours now. And maybe widen the handle a smidge to get a better fit...

Does Megabolt actually lock into place, or is it like Laserbeak and just happens to sit there well?

ugh, lol. since its on wiki it seems more like a fan-idea than something planned by the designer, i bet lots of other bots can fit on there too; you can flip most of the headmasters upside down and stick them on there too.

I don't know if I'd really call Laserbeak being a head for Fort Max there. Just looks too bad.

If it had a matching color scheme and actually locked into place though, might be interesting.
