    Howdy,

A coworker recently got himself a new entertainment system and gave me his old TV and a set top DVD Recorder. Generous guy! Anyway, when I went to pick the stuff up from his apartment, I noticed that he collects lion/big cat type figurines and immediately thought that a Cyb. Leobreaker would fit in great (he also digs robots, though he doesn't actively collect any). I looked at some stores in my area and didn't have any luck finding one. I've taken a couple looks at Ebay and every auction is $50+ shipped. Are any of you still seeing this fig. in stores in your area? If so, I would be interested in buying one for a reasonable price (cost+shipping+a mutually agreeable finder's fee). PM me if you can help out!

    Thanks!

EDIT: I forgot about the Junkion exchange before posting this thread! (I'm a dumbass, I know). A search of the exchange didn't turn up any MISB Leobreakers.

Yeah...I thought about getting him the Nemesis version, but the original color scheme would fit his lion collection a lot better. Thanks for the response!

    :google

Sorry...always wanted to use that smiley!! Kidding.

Anyway, Froogle is a component of Google that you can use to find deals on items you want to buy. Go to http://froogle.google.com/ and search for what you want to buy.

I think its the typical "its the end of the series and we're never going to find them again" jitters that seem to crop up sometimes...remember how Armada Starscream was going for $70+ on Ebay following the end of that series? Now you can pick him up for $20-something in some places, MISB.

I wish I could find some Leobreakers. I'd be making some cash off of those and clearing shelves for Classics at the same time!

I haven't seen a Leobreaker in a long time. I'm not sure if it's the case for Leobreaker, but I know alot of the times at the end of a line you can actually get the Japanese version of a toy cheaper than its American equivalent. I know I've bought many a clearenced Japanese toy (such as Armada Starscream) to avoid paying the markup on the US release just because its become somewhat scarce.

Hmmm, is Japan dunping their Galaxy Force aka Cybertron stuff? I'm asking this question because it seems lately that some import stores in my country were orders to puchase Galaxy Force stuff at rather "affordable" prices.

I was e-mailed a mailing list but passed them up as I had some of them. If stores in Japan are really dumping GF stuff, I guess the line didn't do that well over there and if so, I can understand TakaraTomy's unwillingness to release Classics.

Here in Podunk, we have both regular Leos and Nemesis Leos still. If you need one or both and have not secured them elsewhere, feel free to contact me.

I'm not really sure if Japan is dumping their Galaxy Force stuff on the cheap, I was just going by the U.S. importers, which always seam to have nice clearances on the leftover Japanese stuff towards the end of a line, sometimes leading to getting the Japanese version of a figure cheaper than its U.S. counterpart.
