Saw these ball-joint figures from a Japanese seller on Ebay, and I was curious if anyone knows more about them... specifically the size and stiffness of the ball-joints, as regards potentially using them in kitbashing. Anybody used them before? The seller says that they're 5mm ball joints, but I'm not sure what that means exactly...

    Thanks for any info! :)

Those would be good for helping out with scratch building. Give you some ball and sockets for the joints.

Sorry man, even though I'm living in Asia and have access to Japanese toys, I have never seen those toys before.

    Maybe they're new...

I mean, if I want ball joints, I guess I can always hit the toy section of Value Village, which always seems to have grab-bags full of old Bionicle stuff. However, those joints tend to be too big and too loose or some applications... but these look sort of promising.

Just out of curiosity, why is do you spell your user name with an "s" at the beginning, yet you sign all your posts spelling it with a "z"?

Those are "Ball Joint Plastic Model (BJPM)". I noticed HLJ selling them several year s ago. Thought they were cool so I did some surfing to find more on them. Can't say I remember much.... I do recall fans making so pretty damn cool things out of them, mostly detailed gundam robots.
