    WST Trypticon

WST TRYPTICON, MEASURING IN AT ABOUT 3", thought it would be cool to display with sparkplug & spike next to scf Cyclonus like in the Ultimate Weapon:

I still have my original but when I was like 7 my brother threw him at me from across the room and broke his leg thingy, the part that makes him walk.

He still looks cool despite the crippling injury though.

Why does the ebay listing says it's one of a kind?

There's a LOT of people that seem to be trying to pass off finished kabaya-kits as "One-of-a-kind-hand-made WSTs"

In most cases the FINISHING work has been very nice, but that's like putting up a completed Gundam model and saying that it's a hand-crafted one-of-a-kind Gundam. *Technically* true, but the implications are BS.

But I guess it's a case of caveat emptor if you don't know about the Kabaya kits (and more over the semi-recent availablility of decent K/Os of the Kabaya kits), you might think these things are more impressive than they are...

KO Toys has Trypy in a set with Metroplex, Rodimus Prime, and Galvatron. ToyHell also have a few of these (ToyHell's are Might Gaine's old stock).

They're pretty good quality, not perfect, but they hold together well, and TF without falling apart. Plastic is reasonably thick, biggest issue is that the parts usually need some flash trimmed off before assembling them.

I love building these, making your own TF's is great fun.

I've noticed an increase in these 'custom WSTs' recently also.

    Yes.

From the seller: "A response to another ebayer in regards to the kabaya question:

full tilts eletro disruptor( actually 3 pieces carved, sealed together and heat treated to insure a better seal and then final carved and trimmed to clean up), the nose cannon( actually 6 pieces using the same methods mentioned before), along with tank treads were carved, if you check your kabaya kit you'll notice it is without any of the prior mentioned. As for stickers, there are none. The entire figure has been airbrushed and hand painted. The details of the g1 trypticon regarding stickers..etc were all done by hand. I scaled by eye using photos of a couple old tyrpticons I sold already. additional anything that moves had to have been trimmed down to allow clearance for added layers of primer, paints and finish other wise the paint would be possible be damaged when operating those parts.Last thing is the kabaya kit measures 3". This one is a bit over - not due to paint but through reinforced plastic supports to have a sturdier figure that not only looks nice but one that can last..additionally the figure was sealed using hobby cement and crafts glue. I was actually considering doing the ramps and antenna but time restraints wouldn't allow so I just pushed to list as soon as the basic idea of the project was completed."
