I remember those! I used to own the french fries and the big mac. Man was I easily pleased back those days.
There were two series over a couple years, one set were robots and the other were dinosaurs, none of them go for more then a buck or two, and can be readily found at most yardsales and fleamarkets, the bird hotcakes one is easily my favroate
I like those cup o' noodles ones ive never seen those, I have the rest. I also have some McDonalds happy meal toys marked Hasbro 1985 only avalible in St. Louis. The sealed ones even have the Overdrive mail away promo sheet.
Rather than retype all that crap, I'm going to just link to this thread at LRG which explains the origin of the Japanese robot/food guys. There's lots of them and they're quite cool for what they are.
I remember those, had the Big Mac one but gave it away to charity. And those cup-o-noodle TFs are just hilarious.
Ah, fond memories. I had the Big Mac and fries as well. Not that I actually bought McDonald's grub, of course...
Yep, I remember those. I had the hotcakes one, the burger one, and the fries one. Not the best, but they were fun at the time.
We didn't go to McDonalds when I was a kid unless we were on a trip, so the only one I ever got was Frybot and I still have it. I love the ridiculousness of them. The cup noodle ones are a lot more recent, I remember seeing them at a store (St. Sabrina's for you Minnesota folk) a few years ago. Wanted to buy one but they were kind of overpriced.
I don't have them anymore but I remember having the hamburger, big mac, and hotcakes ones as a kid. I especially liked the hotcakes one.
