Found a pile of these buried underneath a bunch of toys in the back of a comic shop (pals with owner, he let's me route around in storage) and boxed em up for $50!!! and took em home. These guys , had a few when I was a kid and been trying to get a few back for a long time and finally, SCORE!!!! Maybe they can offer Sigma 6 some new ideas for some weapons packs. Pics & Gallery below!! (BATS in there for size comparison) 2page gallery http://photobucket.com/albums/v148/loebig/Centurions/ Still need a Dr Terror and Hacker. Need to sell the incomplete doubles.
power extreme! i used to have jake and ace as kid. these were pretty sweet. the build feels a bit cheap. but great playability with all the interchangeable parts.
You mean THESE Centurions? A very proud part of the Collection of DOOM and I tend to keep them MISB for now
instead of rereleasing the failure that is Dragonflyz again for the umpteenth time why can't they bring something like this back? i'm just looking at the pictures and they look like they could be selling on shelves now..
Just bought Dragonflyz's Dreadwing (villain leader). Was curious and had to check em out. Oh man this line's doomed! Some updated balljpointed Centurions would've been way better.
Even though updated Centurions would basicly be Amdriver. YES; so much better than Dragonflyz on multiple levels of trueness. ALso: z0mg. That is basicly a collection right there. Just like that. Wish I had such luck sometimes.
Only thing I think CM's missing are the 2 main villians and a equipment set for Max Ray: a mini-sub armor that Max didn't need to have his helmet on to use.
I remember those guys , the interchanging gear was cool. Back then I had Visionaries and TF instead. My buddy had a giant Air Raiders lot and Inhumanoids. Them were the days of toy greatness.
Who were the guys of similar scale, but they looked more like regular military guys with futuristic weapons and I think face paint on the bad guys? There was also something about an N-Zone or R-Zone or something that made the guys evil. I think there was a limited series comic about it as well.
Takes wild stab in dark: Spiral Zone?? Back in 'The day' i thought Centurions were the dogs sphericals. Air Raiders: Now THAT'S a blast from the past. (Pun reference to toy function not intended)
wooooooooow ... just some things you forget about untill you see it again. Man, that's really bringing me back.
Yeah I remembered them. Loved watching the cartoon on a Saturday morning, but never had any of the toys.
