I realize this might be a huge can of worms, since people may find it unfair to those that spend a lot on the botcon set, but I was wondering if anyone is planning on taking a botcon thrust, and doing a run of his wings for kitbashers? I certainly have no experience with resin casts/moldings, but would love to have a chance to buy some wings to try to put on an extra ramjet. I don't know if it would even be possible to get the wings off thrust (once he's out) without doing some damage to the toy, which may be the biggest limiting factor to someone doing this. I just wanted to gauge opinion/put it out there in hopes of it happening. :p

I thought about casting my custom Thrust wings and selling those. What is keeping me from doing it is time and money, as I have never cast any toy parts for reproduction.

My wings may not be everyone's cup of tea though.

Personaly, I would gladly pay $20 for repo wings or more. At this point, I would buy them from anyone that would make them. Hopefully..someone will.

This guy does reproing for various things including transformers. Try asking if he's willing to cast the wings for you. Maybe he and you can share in the profit or something.

yeah, actually boggs6ft7, I like yours, too. I bet if you put out a thread as like a poll, you'd find a ton (at least enough to make it worth your while) of people that would buy them.

I would definately be in for a set as well, seeing as how I am now repainting Ramjet for a Dirge, and I will be painting a spare Skywarp into a Thundercracker.

I'd totally buy a set of repro'd Thrust wings. They looked great and I'm repainting the remaining seekers as this kid cannot afford to get the botcon set.

If someone does make a repop set of Thrust wings expect tremendous whining/gnashing of teeth from the folks that blew a huge chunk of change on the Botcon set. I hope someone does make some though because outside of Thrust, I haven't seen anything from that set that can't be created by a can of Tamiya spray paint.

I would definitely buy some wings. My Dirge WIP starts next weekend! I plan to do a Thundercracker (if I can find another Starscream) and if I coud get some wings, I would do Thrust.

I should rephrase all of that to say "ATTEMPT to do!"

Just want to put in my note of support for getting someone clever to cast Classics Thrust (and maybe Dirge?) wings. In order to appease people who purchase the Botcon set, I imagine the cast wings could have a special marking to indicate that they are reproductions.

Hey I am getting the botcon set but I don’t see any problem with any one making repo thrust wings, its only fair that every one should get the chance to have him. I just really hope some one makes a good set of actual classic dirge wings.

Insane Galvatron, about how much roughly would you charge for the wings? Because I know I'm definately in for a set.
