I am thinking about dropping the money for the Chinease Box Set of all the org episodes and the movie included. I read the reviews on Amazon.com and I know that the menus and primary audio track is in Chinease, but they say that the secondary audio track is the orginal episode tracks in English with the same v/o talent (Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, etc) from the show. So I'm asking just to make sure that is indeed the second audio track with the original voices and so forth and that its worth the buy.

The Rhino versions suck and are waaaaay to over priced.

    Thanks!

If you mean the box set of the entire of G1 plus the movie in a tin case, with postcards and a keychain, it's a superb set.

I don't have the set, but I've heard only good-to-great reviews from pretty much everyone.

I'm really wishing I could have picked up one for $30 shipped... which was the going price before the sellers caught on to just what kind of product they had on their hands. :(

Bought the set, and LOVED it. All the extras that come along with it make it that much better than any other set. And it does have the original English audio. NO REGRETS buying this set.

I have the set and I'm glad I got it. Threw away my Rhino DVD's.
    Only one bug:
"Atlantis Arise" is only in chinese...no english audio track.
I watched every other episode and did'nt notice anything else that was wrong.

I'm still considering getting this. Wow $30 was steal, but $99 still seems like a fair price to me.

I got this set too. It is way worth it. Trying to find the equivalent in North American stores can cost 3-4 times as much.

I've got the tin box, and my episode of "Alantis, Arise!" is just fine. I was going to post last night but I wanted to make 100% sure that I wasn't remembering wrong. I don't know how the two sets vary (there is one which uses DVD-5's and one with DVD-9's) but my tin box, the one with the DVD-9's, contain an engligh audio track for that episode.

On that note, it is said that one of the episodes does not contain an english track, but I haven't ever come across it, and I think I've watched every episode on the set, save for maby 1 or 2 season 3 episodes.

Anyway, I love the set, one of the best DVD purchaces I ever made.

BUT IT! Don't waste your money on the Rhino sets.

I own the Chinese Tin Set, and I can confirm all episodes and movie have the option to switch to English. All of the tracks, voices, sound effects, etc. are from the original episodes.

DO NOT HESITATE TO BUY THIS!
