I really want to get working on my Silverstreak re-shell, but I can not find a damn 280z plastic model kit anywhere.

Also, I'm going to need an alt Prowl head as it looks more like G1 Bluestreak's head.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I started one of these about 4 years ago using a Tamiya kit. It is discontinued now but you may be able to find one. It is a great kit and has some great detail to it both car shell and interrior.

There was also a Monagram kit i believe or AMT, one of the NA companies that was reissued about two years ago. It is not a great kit but should be good for what you are considering.

I would suggest watching eBay for them as I have not seen them on shelves for some time now.

I used to see a model kit of one at Wal-Mart, but it's been a couple years... I'd go with ebay.

I tried to use the 1/25 to do a custom prowl, but its too small. I think the only 1/24th is the rally version, which I guess you could change around to match.

    Ebay:
There are tons of model kits that will be right up your alley on ebay. Search using the word "fairlady". You'll get results from the '70s thru modern versions that should work fine.

That is a great kit ( I have one ) but it is the wrong car. Bluestreak was a 280, not a 240. There is considerable difference between the cars.
