I'm gonna take my ipod to BB for SP replacement but before that I need to back up the 10 gigs worth of stuff i have on it. I need something that can backup and restore playlists too preferebly free. Ipod2pc has been the best piece of software i have used so far but it has an annoying shareware limitation. CopyPod will do the back up but it messes up as soon as I try to import the music to itunes at which point the playlists get screwed up and unusable. Help would be seriously appreciated.

    :google

www.ipodlounge.com or whatever their name is now is also a good resource.

Personally, I just use Windows Explorer to drag and drop everything.

That's what I use as well.
Well that and the fact I still have everything on my HD so it would just be a case of reconnecting it and syncing it.

Yeah, same here. I don't like the idea of my entire music library being on my iPod and not my computer. The day I do that is the day my iPod gets stolen.

I just finally hit the 20 GB mark, so in the last month or so I've had to start picking and choosing what doesn't go on.

I don't care for that one bit. It's time to upgrade.

    I've got 80GB to fill.
I don't think I'll ever get that close.

out of the 60gb we got (more like my g/f's one that i bought her)...we've got 10gb of music (i make new folders monthly of new music) and 10gb of video (mainly Family Guy episodes).

haven't backed up mines yet, might have to think about it though.

Man I only got an 8GB Nano. I'm happy as hell with it, and don't really like how huge the bigger ones are, but I'm looking at all my CDs and realizing that they aren't all gonna fit on 8 Gigs and just cringing at how much work it's gonna be to change songs out manually instead of just syncing everything I have on iTunes.
