I've got some street fighter action figures and I'm having trouble finding info on these 3. They are pretty cool figures, their clothes are made of real clothe and the boxes are about 10" tall. The only words in English are the Street Fighter Zero 2 logo, the Capcom logo, and the phrase "Street Fighter ZERO 2 Figure Collection" on the top and side of the box. The rest is covered in Japanese (I assume) writing. I found very few sites selling them and only 1 or 2 listings on ebay which didn't provide much info. Anyone know anything about them?

    Thanks!

It's weird that the US name for Akuma is used for a japanese toy. Maybe they're not licensed?

Actually in the Non-Japanese Asian market they used the Zero name instead of Alpha, but the Characters all had their US names. So that's where i would say they are from.

Thanks! I didn't realize that, I work with some guys who are from Hong Kong, I'm gonna show them the writing and see if they can point me in the right direction.

Well now it gets even more interesting, my friends at work confirmed what you say here, it is Japanese on the front of the box. However the back of the box is apparently in Chinese. Supposedly i says something like must kill, followed by a made up fighting style listing punches and kicks? (I don't remember exactly but I'll attach a pic of the back of one of the boxes.

The chinese on the back could be atributed to his semi-chinese orientated/made up fighting style (The japanese love using kanji in hissatsu moves :D ). It is probably a non-japanese asia product though. Not the first time I've seen stuff like this (though it is a bit strange it uses the Zero title but still calls him Akuma). HK/Chinese usually get the best of both worlds (English TFs AND Japanese TFs. WTF!)

I used to have these when I was a kid. They're rotocast vinyl with only the most basic articulation (waist, shoulders, neck) and the outfits feel kind of cheap. But for the right price, they look neat on a shelf. The sculpts were pretty nice, and the proportions were actually quite good.

I ended up stripping them down and losing the bodies, giving the outfits to some old Marvel dolls that I forgot the name of (mid-90's mego-esque release.)

Good point, I looked at the other 2 boxes and the backs look very different. Here are the pics for anyone interested:
