NCsoft has a new referel program where you can give 10 day trials to those who have had their accounts inactive for atleast 90 days, as luck would have it I am such a person. Is anyone willing to give me one of their 10 day trial referal keys?

I played Heroes, then I got Villains.

But, CoV did not have a lot of the features that NC Soft said it would have.
Although I could see my friends who were playing Heroes were online, there was no interacting with them.

Also, I had to save people and help people out -the game just called the people you were saving "Mob Bossess" or "Evil Scientists".

I got bored and let my account expire.

I understand it is much better now and there are missions where heroes and villains interact.

I started CoH with release. Same with CoV.

I like the game, but it gets repetitive very quickly. Been playing Lord of the Rings Online since beta, and haven't looked back at CoH/CoV

So far CoH/CoV has been the best MMO I've ever played, but I still quit playing it. I guess I just cant be as attached to MMO's as some other games. Creating new characters isnt a really attractive idea if I have no one else to lvl up with. Kinda got lonely and boring.

I used to play CoV but got burned out shortly after it launched. Every now and then I feel like playing it again, but just figure I'd end up getting bored again.

It didn't have much motivation for advancement past 20, but nothing beats that character creation and just flyin around. I love that.

I just started playing again. The new power sets and weapon customization are pretty sweet.
