I need a recomendation on a book to learn Macros and stuff. Anyone have any? thx!
There's got to be some good reading on the net.
basically, its just visual basic.
If its simple things you need done, I highly recommend using the Macro recorder. Pretty much puts everything in code for you, then you can edit it later to do special stuff.
Hey there! I had the same problem!
I bought this book and all my problems were solved!
"Excel VBA Programming for Dummies"
It's pretty good!
I just bought it on Amazon. Thx!
I might have to pick that up too...
When you get the book, you must at least read:
Part I: Introducting VBA
Part II: How VBA works with Excel
You be able to make some basic macros after reading the first two parts. Parts III and onwards are the advanced programming stuff. I'm NOT a hot shot programmer, so I just concentrated on Parts I & II!
That's cool. I mainly use macros from a Finance POV (building models, etc.)
Separate names with a comma.
