Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for Dragon Transformers. (DinoZaurs, Daigunder, etc. were all bought because of that.) I've been eyeing on the shelves those Mystic Mighty Morphin Power Ranger figures, in particular the Dark Fury one, as he looks like a nice figure. As I recall, they're about 10 bucks.

However, I don't know squat really about Power Rangers, or Power Ranger toys.

So, anyone actually have one that they can tell me about, since I can't seem to find a review online?

I'm eyeing that too...those Dragon Transforming PRs were not released in Asia so I don't know about their quality. However be warned...it seems that US PR fans seem to get lower QC toys - that's what I read in magazines, forums etc.

Have them all. (Well the yellow, green, red & black one) They're very well made and durable and pretty fun to mess with.
Only thing I don't like is there's not much poseabilty in the figs. But I guess that's the PR way,

If there's anything specific you'd like to know then feel free to ask.
Have some pics of 2 of them. Don't know why I did'nt upload the rest lol

I normally just collect the Zords and never cared for the figs, but these were worth it and glad I got em. Also like dragonformers and these filled the hungry spot pretty good

    Okay, 2 quick questions then.

On the Dark Fury Dragon, what's the articulation in human/beast modes like?

Are they all parts shift, or do you have to remove, or add parts to transform them?

Dark Fury is just a remold of Fury, I'm pretty sure, replacing the Red Ranger sculpt with a Knight Wolf sculpt. Thus, articulation and transformation should be identical.

As far as I can tell, the only pieces that need to be removed/shifted are the weapons, which clip on to the feet to form the tips of the tails. Otherwise, everything is hinged.

Articulation, from what I see, boils down to universal shoulders, universal hips, bicep swivels, knees, ankles, and necks. They just lack elbows.

    older Power Ranger Dragon toys:
Greed Dragonzord (was inspired from Godzilla)
Red Thunder Dragonzord (looks like a classic asian dragon)
    Serpenterra (idem as above)

I've got all those, the original Dragonzord is still one of my faves. Serpantera is pretty cool just because it's so big compared to the others too.

Well at 8 bucks, I picked him up. (Normally 10 at TRU, I had a 3 dollar off coupon on any purchase.)

He's actually a surprising amount of fun. Sure, the dragon mode is pretty obviously a guy with his legs together and his arms up, but it's still not bad. A fast Transformation, a solid sculpt, and pretty decent articulation more than makes up for it, IMHO. He's not a bad dragon really, just it wouldn't have taken much to have made him better. A larger range of motion in the dragon ball joint neck, and the hinge at the elbow rather than the claws would've gone a long way without too much change. In more than a few ways, he's a lot like the Drago brothers from Daigunder.

Anyway, I's like him, and at 8 bucks, he's well worth the price of admission. I'm not going to get any of the others, since his dragon, color scheme, and weapon all appealed to me, unless I see them for around five bucks or so.
