I remember having a few of these.... it was circa late summer/fall '85.

For a cereal pack in they weren't bad.

That's about all i can remember unfortunately.

Wow. Would people actually pay over $100 for an old cereal box?

I remember in the mid 80's they had a cereal box not-transformers. I can't remember what they were called, but it was in 85 or 86... One looked almost like the enterprise... I can't remember the name so I can't look them up online.

someone will have a snide remark hinting at the prices paid for g1 boxes in 3....2.....1.....

thanks to all that remember this guy, I just want to see what it looks like and get a good idea of how it was transformed. Was it cardboard or plastic or metal?

    Card.

IIRC They essentially folded in half down the middle, held in place with a paper clip.

It may have been more like a plastic clip, now that you mention it....in which case, i think it was included.

The little purple rectangle was used as a clip somehow. Looking at the bigger pictures all 6 original seekers were available. I would like to own these one day. Does anyone know if these were released in the US? I can't find a thing on them stateside.

These came up in another thread a short while back. I used to have them all but now I'm not so sure. It's the kind of thing I always kept but I know I put them into a hardbacked book for safe-keeping when I moved house and now I can't remember which book I used.
There's isn't a huge amount of info about them online - I think pretty much all that's been linked to in this thread. I wish Hasbro would include something similar to this kind of thing as a freebie somewhere.

Even without scans or those linked to at that other site (although it looks like they've only shown one side as both sides were printed) it wouldn't really be that hard to recreate them.

They were fun little things and really clever with how they 'transformed'

Apologies for awakening a fairly old thread, but I figured that this wasnt worth starting a new one for, and the people interested in this would be subscribed here.

Anyway, I recently found Skywarp, Ramjet and Dirge of these in a clear out.

Nice to see what they look like in plane mode! Were they intended to be gliders? The shape of them makes me wonder. Really cool.

I dont think that they were intended to actually fly at all. They dont hold together well enough in plane mode to even glide. But, they are on pretty thick paper and have held up quite well considering that they are a free paper toy from a cereal packet about 25 years old!

I remember those, the Starbots. There was a plane, a shuttle, the Enterprise, and a helicopter. There's not much I could find out there about them, but I did find this:
