I was never able to find one.
i got one when it first came out over a year ago....then just ordered one off TRU last month when they had their mondo TF sale for $14 something...both have fucked up sirens...some folks claimed to have found onslaught in stores with fixed sirens.....
I just cannot see how a year gap gets me two fucked up sirens....
I found one without the broken siren and returned the one I had before which had a broken one.
Mine makes the machine gun sound and a short chirp noise. I don't know if that's broken or what it's supposed to do.
I got that one too, think it's the broken one...
i've had two, both broken
the reason I asked is because I picked up hard head and it also has the broken chirp
I picked one up a couple months ago, it works fine, I've seen a lot of the broken ones in stores though, I think people that know the difference are checking before they buy it, that might be why there's fewer, I know I did.
The one I got from TRU.com has broken sound during their previous sale. P.S. what up with the toilet-flushing-like sound that's activated on the waist of Classics/Universe Onslaught?
I bought one with the fixed siren and the fixed pegs on his legs that stay together tighter. Returned the old one.
I do, but I wish he came with a speaking phrase aslso.
Every 2.0 Onslaught I've checked out has the siren defect...even to this day. The Henkei and 2.0 Hardhead repaints don't have this problem.
The Wal-mart by my house back home had nothing but fixed Onslaughts. That's the only place I ever saw the fixed batch, anyway.
I'm pretty sure I know where to find one.
The Hardhead I picked up also has a fixed siren call.
When he's in vehicle mode, you roll him along. A part of the toy strikes that button, and it's meant to be "motor" sounds. Keep him rolling along and he keeps engine sounds going. It's a play gimmick sound.
The "fixed" siren Onslaughts tended to be the ones in the cases with Stormcloud. Other cases didn't have this, even if they were stocked on shelves afterwards.
Really? Sorry to hear that
Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure to check before buying if I ever see one here.
I picked up Hardhead and while the sound was fixed the pegs were not. I guess it's hit or miss.
I have one Onslaught with the sound fix and one without. The one with the fix was bought at a Walmart.
