post 'em if you got 'em!
I got some. Love this line. If I have time, I'll take some pics. If I ever get done with TFs, I'll do dinoriders.
I've still got the Triceratops and the Pterodactyl, if I can find them I'll snap a few.
I've still got the Dinosaurs, doubt all the weapons survived the past two decades though
(However last i checked, my Dipledochus still had one of the tail missile racks on it! )
Here one of them. It's under a ton of stuff and I don't feel like having an avalanche of toys falling on me.
man, 80s toy packaging rules with the sick illustrations.
duuuuude dino riders is b'dass WHY oh WHY they dont bring it back i dont know, i have a bunch of dinos but no guns or accessories for them
Dino Riders would be an EPIC toyline to resurrect.
No pics but I still have some VHS tapes.Did Tyco make the toys as well?I can't remember. If so that would be the reason they have not made an apperance.Even though I'm not even sure what company ended up buying Tyco out.I think it might of been Irwin since they were teamed up and if that is the case Jakks Pacific ended up with some of thier stuff when Irwin went under.Good stuff though.
I loved those! I had... the triceratops and the Deinonychus. And a few others. My bro had loads too!
I just bought a MISB European Dino-Riders Ankylosaurus...my first ever Dino-Riders purchase!
I can already hear my wife saying "don't you collect enough toys already!"
i had a bad guy Deinonychus a 2 pack of the bad guys and that kid with the petra (flyigg dino) glider. sadly i want looking for them the other day and could not find them. alas parents making me give up toys back in my late teens
WOW did everyone have Deinonychus? I had it too.
I remember being freaking obsessed for like... 3 or so months after seeing it when I was about 7 (ten or so years back). I never actually had any of the toys, but I used to stare with longing as I watched and re watched the toy commercials that were also on the VHS tapes from the video store.
Whatever happened to Dino Riders anyway? looked pretty kickass if I remember correctly.
I have a few of those at my mom's house. This gives me an excuss to visit her.
I was poor as a kid. The only one I had was Ankylosaurus.
But I'm making it up now.
I never managed to get the Dino Riders themselves, but a lot of the dinos got reissued in a Smithsonian line, without the unrealistic weaponry or riders. In that form, I have Kentrosaurus, Monoclonius, and a lot of memories of the other stuff (even the Smithsonian Ice Age stuff), but nothing else. Yet.
Although I'm usually more of a carnosaur kind of guy, the ceratopsians are probably my favorite designs in the series.
I figure this would be an apt place to put this.
How much should I expect to pay for one:-
- Loose Smithsonian/ Dino Rider T-rex.
- Working electronics
- No accesories for Dino Riders Version
- No Box/Packaging
If anyone can help. I always wanted one of the walking Rexes since I saw it in Mrs. Doubtfire when I was a kid. I figure now would be a good time to look.
I dont want any parts or weapons or anything, just the core figure.
Thanks for the help in advance.
The Smithsonian ones do not have electronics, so you can imagine that it would not be as expensive as the Dino Riders version. It also would be of no use to you if you specifically want a walking Rex.
