No, I can wait to see it a few days later without the massive crowd by going early in the day it's released. I do regret having to miss the fun time going with everyone at Botcon but I'm sure I can amuse myself with fun and drink for a couple hours while others are off seeing it.

I will be at the BotCon showing... I probly won't have hardly a dime to buy anything - but seeing TF with fellow TF Fans (I really hope anyone who's *really* unhappy about the movie keeps their mouth shut - I have little doubt the poor fool would be quickly beaten into his seat), is just too good to miss.

I saw SW:RotS at a Midnight Showing - not even an IMAX theater - my 2nd midnight showing (can't recall what the first was, I think LOTR:2T) - and there's just something surreal about that logo going up, or in this case (hopefully) a recognized song, for a long-awaited movie, and clapping with fellow fans, at the beginning & the end. You know you've particpated in something that's not likely to be repeated (OK OK - SW & LOTR were a definately known series).

It's cool opening wkend for others (Batman), but midnight was coolest.
