Recently I saw an article about SDCC Blaster showing up at a Canadian store for CA $19.99, the article ended with the quote that this store owns Marshalls here in the US and implied that the figure might show up here in the US at Marshalls.
My question is; anyone seen him yet?
    Thanks guys for the replies.

TJX Companies does own Winners, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls. But Blaster wasn't found at Winners. He was found at Home Sense, another TJX Companies store. But some TJX Companies locations are Winners/Home Sense. Going to TJ Maxx or Marshalls is barking up the wrong tree. Home Goods is where you want to check.

Marshalls is almost always attatched to a Home Goods. And the toy "dept" is in Marshalls.

In Houston, all the Home Goods are attached to a Marshalls except for one that's attached to a TJMaxx. But the toys that go to Marshalls (SE Dragstrip, SE Overkill) and the ones that go to TJMaxx (HA Mudflap, Animated Wreck-gar) sometimes do and sometimes do no overlap so as of right now we do not know if Blaster will be TJMaxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, or none.

Definitely not the case in New England. Of the 7 or so Marshall's I know of, only 1 is and it's 2 and a half hours away from here.

Interesting news here... I have a "Home Goods" about 5 minutes from my home. I'll check it out and see what I find, but the Home Goods by where I live is next to a TJ Maxx, not a Marshalls..

Words can't describe the thrill it would give me to walk into a TJ Max or Ross or what ever outlet store and see that big shiny red box setting on the shelf for $20, I don't own the mold and this would be a great way to pick it up.

that would be very odd considering the SDCC was a Hasbro release through their online store. I very much doubt you will find it at any other distributers like TJX.

That is why I said almost always. There are a few instances where the Home Goods is attatched/next door to a TJ Maxx. And since these outlets are owned by the same company, it's really splitting hairs. This was not entirely directed at your post btw.

It hasn't hit the US yet, and it might not. Usually they only dump to Canada when its a smaller quantity. I've been checking too, but I don't expect it to show up here.

It's not completely unheard of. A year or 2 ago Hasbro's SDCC Marvel Legends Sunfire figure popped up in Marshalls.
I bought my Blaster from HTS :banghead:

I think, to clarify, that he meant that the other way around from how you read it. IE, there are almost no HomeGoods stores without a Marshall's (or sometimes a TJ Maxx) attached.

    Folks:

Crazy, but it actually makes some sense, since there does seem to be a Hasbrotoyshop -> TJX stores pipeline of some sort.

Yes. Exactly. Thank you. Same difference. The closest comparison I can think of would be Babies R Us and TRU. Didn't think it mattered which order the words came in when its the same damn thing.

The only thing I found in there were stares from ladies wondering why I was looking at the kids toys near the womens clothing.:confused2

The local comic book store has the nox set for 125. Would love to buy one for 20 send sell it for a small profit (no more than $50. Would allow him to lower the price on the obe he already has. Its not worth 125.
