Not that I can buy anymore but I was having a look through ebay uk and the TF section is pretty empty, it seems to be made up of stuff from Hong Kong, USA etc with it all being pretty new stuff, has anyone else noticed this ???

The only thing I've really noticed is no more barrages of Gestalt KOs.

    Which is a good thing.

I wonder if the KO ban will also extend to the aftermarket kits like the Cliffjumper weapons kit. It'd suck if it did. :(

Just seems to me people are getting kicked off left and right, even if they didn't deal in KOs.

The only problem I see coming from this is people attempting to sell off KOs as legit, even moreso than they did before. Or legit TFs in a KO box, etc. But it's a step. The KOs really had me paranoid when it came to bidding on ANYTHING that had been replicated.

Yeah, I noticed it in ebay UK, to be honest it's been a while since I've seen anything I fancied bidding on.

It's good that all the rampant gaudy KOs from china have gone, coz they took up loadsa space, but it appears a lot of the G1 sellers have either been banned, or have decided not to put up with the changes, as there seems to be even less of that.

I modified my search to remove auctions from China and US and literally half of the listings disappeared, and what was left was 95% Movie merch.

    Rubbish!

Where are the alternatives? I wanna buy reasonably priced G1 in the UK, but I have no idea where I can...

    TFW's Junkion Exchange? :thumb

I'm glad all those KO's are off of eBay. Makes searching easier.

Does that make selling items with repro parts not allowed on eBay either?

I tried to get back into Ebay trolling for a few TF items the other day, and I noticed the selection is pretty miserable... outlook bleak to say the least.

I agree eBay has changed since they did away with all the KO sellers. It has also become harder to find good sales due to the Seller feedback changes. There is less items for sale now which has made the hunt for a hard to find TF even more difficult than before.

Hopefully once TF2 comes out we'll see some more activity in the market. ;)

Since the changes and price increase on final fees I think that people feel Ebay takes to big of a slice of the pie, And you need to kiss all kinds of ass with buyers that try to screw you to avoid negative feedback so you wont get booted! I see Ebay going in the crap house like Yahoo auctions did a few years back before they got rid of it. The problem here is they are a monopoly and were else can you really go? they do not think like any other company were the customer is always right but more like we tell the customer you dont like it well then thats too bad!

Well, I'm slowly selling my collection, so hopefully you find some items you are looking for. Ebay and paypal do take a big slice, but I think overall I get fair value for my items.

Not so great if you're actually looking for rampant gaudy KOs, though... :p

all the more reason to try selling stuff here. I've got a ton of stuff for sale, but it's all random, old g1 memorabilia that isn't that valuable, so there's no point in putting it on ebay.

LOL, there's always PoundLand for that kinda stuff, hahahah

I suppose investing a bit more time in looking through the Junkion might be a good idea though...

ebay is dying out....that is all there is too it

    seriously the signs are there
1.ebay policy changes and people get mad
2.they are banning a bunch of the sellers left and right

i wonder what is going to take ebay's place when it dies

and i noticed the lack of transformers too.....i went researching on powermaster prime prices and there is barely anything there
