back in this Halloween Thread I mentioned how I needed a Frankenstein figure to complete this set. Well, I found this superherotoys.com site and they seemed to be the only site that had the figure in stock. The site looks pretty professional, but I've never heard of it before, and it's always kinda iffy when one site has a figure no one else has (toys n joys anyone?). Anyone have any experience with this site?

I've been there before but I've never bought anything. It looks ok to me.

I've never shopped there, but they have a pretty good inventory of all things, but their prices are so-so. Looks legit to me, but don't hold me to it. :)

Their prices are sadly in line with places like Brian's Toys (though I don't know about the classics). And I think all the online places are doing at least $90 on MP SS. But they did have a nice Sota Street Fighter selection, but again, unfortunately the overpricing adds up when you wanna buy a bunch of things.

I'd be weary myself...prices are high and they are selling KO G1's as original reissues made by Hasbro.

I realize the prices arent the best. The figure I'm getting from them is $20 while it's $13 at retail. But I'm more interested in whether or not they're reliable, that is to say, will I get my item (something Toys N Joys is notorious for not doing)

Great... last night, the figure was in stock. Now, the figure, as well as every figure in the series, is out of stock and my order is "on hold." I love out of date sites!

no it is not a good price at all. Most figures are double the retail price and the harder to find figures are 3 times and higher.

I've ordered from Superherotoys.com before. They're super fast, and have an excellent customer service. Like any website, you've got to be aware of their pricing; sometimes you can get good buys, and sometimes you can't.

Brian's Toys is like that. Most of the time not worth it, but sometimes I'm glad they're there.
