You know lately we're getting many figures of the G1 Megatron by Third Party companies like Hegemon. But you know it would be awesome if one of the them can make a Megatron figure based off the Stealth Bomber Megatron from the IDW Ongoing series.

I mean this has got to be one of the most impressive looking Megatrons in a long time how is this not made into a figure yet? Sure HasTak can do it but that may not be for a while if not ever. I mean Toyworld can make a Voyager sized figure of him to go with their upcoming Toy World Optimus figure that's based off the IDW Ongoing Optimus.

Let me put it this way: I'll consider anything that's well designed and engineered.

I'd love to see someone try to custom that from a Yamato VF-17D/S Nightmare from Macross 7.

    Unfortunately it's a $300 toy, thats before the work/resources for customization . . .

    Bingo.

A bud of mine from Sector70 (& here) actually was one of the first to do a custom of this a while back & it sold me on wanting a Megatron in this style. I dig it, but G1 blood flows through these veins. :D

In all honesty, I'd rather see a tank Megatron like Dreamwave or IDW did first, then see Megs in this style.

I would... got tired of waiting for a megs with an actual decent alt mode (I canĀ“t take mass shiffting, much less the decepticon leader turning into something whjich needs someone else to use him to work seriously) so had a friend do me a custom which just needs some painting by now, it is based on a KO Nightmare-like toy:
Forum da ATB -> Megatron Stealth IDW - Verso 2 (WIP)
Some pics of his WIP :D

That Megs is in my top five figures that I wish for but I don't think anybody try it because of the "its not G1 crowd". To me, that is the best design of Megs.

Why does it have to be Third Party? Going back to 2006 and taking over Hasbro isn't an option? I mean, I'd rather pay $30 for an Ultra Stealth Bomber Megatron from back when Hasbro made gold.

Not really. I'd rather LianToys gave us Darkness Emperor so we finally have an MP-level Megatron that scales well with the MP Seeker/Grimlock molds (along with PP01 Faith Leader). Judging by all the speculation in the Masterpiece discussion thread, an MP Megatron v2 might be a bit of a ways off (Galvatron seems likely to be released first?).

It's a nice design, even if it doesn't scream Megatron to me.

I'll take anything that isn't just based off the G1 'toon these days.

2006? You mean the year we got classics without thigh swivels and tail-end Cybertron figures? Fuck that. Go 2009-2010 when we had HFTD and Animated where figures were literally breaking physics.

GOD yes. And I would pay obscene amounts of money for it too. SUCH a badass design.

    I'd love that.

If not a full figure, an upgrade kit for ROTF Mindwipe would suffice.

Yes. This has to happen. Especially with it being a DF design, since it should have an actual logical transformation scheme that can be used. And it needs to be big too. Masterpiece big.

I'd prefer it be a mass release toy that was voyager size. So I could afford it.

Wouldn't mind it being a 3rd party toys as long as it's leader sized.

Yes please, could use a new classics megaron as the first one looks too big and clunky to compare favourably with newer toys, plus it's just an awesome design.

Haven't gotten to that point yet in the continuity. I only buy the hardbacks. But yes I do believe that is a cool looking megatron and would definitely take one.
