Another thing is that I feel that Third party might as be mainstream.

 

No it's just a hint of more darker things to come in the show.

I liked transformers before it was mainstream. I still like them. So uncool  .

 

There are so many Third-party companies that getting more attention than the official stuff.

 

It's absurdly to expect a story like Watchmen from Transformers.

Besides, we have Last Stand of the Wreckers.

 

This. Too bad I became a serious fan just before the movies even if I honestly had never known about them until May of 07.

 

Which is similar to Watchmen but without the Banging and phsycological landmarks.

Besides if it wasn't really mainstream now it wouldn't have brought in new fans and it wouldn't have had the chance to actually bring back classic G1 character back into the fray and we may not have gotten shows like Animated and Prime with games like WFC and FOC! So there's a lot of reaosn why I like it so mainstream now. It broguht new styles and veriatys for fans to choose from that's what I like about it. You have more to choose from then just the G1/Classics approach.

 

A death doesn't make a show dark.

 

No but it's one of the things that makes it dark. I mean it also have situations in Prime that are actually pretty mature enough to give you a shock at least. Espically in episodes like Predatory.

 

When something is mainstream, you get to hear people say things like :"Man,DOTM was beast ! The action was epic and the chicks were hot !!! Those robots were cool and shit!!!The gray one was cool and shit !!!"Also, you get people who annoy the living hell out of you on Fan forums.

 

Not all people are like that mate. There are some that like the movies but are also true Transformers fans as well.

 

I think the reason why some of us have lost that special feeling is because we've gotten so used to being members of the fandom it just doesn't phase us anymore as being "oooh, new Transformers stuff". Now instead of settling with new stuff and enjoying it we nitpick it because it's not like how we used to like when we had said special feeling... If that makes any sense.

 

I would rather be apart of a small fandom where we all get along and we don't nitpick the living hell out of things.

 

Yes, it's hard to argue with you're saying. However, the movies in particular have brought Transformers sooooooo much; it's a necessary evil if you don't like them I think. It sucks you have to listen to idiots both in and out of the forum, but good things come out of the movies that would not have been possible otherwise.

 

Is that even possible?

 

We have different opinions but we respect each other, we also enjoy what we have and not become so negative. Ex. FOC Bruticus, we loved it and then we are dissapointed.
