What I mean is , does anyone that feeling of Transformers back ? That fun , entertaining feel that makes you smile or grin when you think of Transformers. Nowadays , Transformers doesn't seem to be special. I love Prime but it doesn't give a grin on my face when I think about it. Here's an example: Bionicle. This one of Lego's awesome products. Even though it ended, it still made me smile.
Here's for all those other Bionicle Fans :Bionicle - Crashed - YouTube

Ift gives you that feeling, that happy feeling you just can't describe.

Speak for yourself. Prime makes me more excited than any show since G1. It's actually topped BW and Animated IMO.

I've had that feeling since 1984 and I've never lost it.

To be honest, it sounds less like a brand thing and moreso a personal tastes things. I highly enjoy Prime and it's the first show since Beast Wars that I've actually felt the urge to go out of my way to watch it. The feeling is still there for me, and it'll take a massive leap down in quality fiction and toy wise to make me walk away from the brand again.

I do miss the large scale battles from the days of Cybertron which essentially was my G1, but Prime is exciting enough for me.

i felt it for transformers animated, op. transformers prime isn't cutting it for me.

-this character is so deep and relatable, her partners are deaaaaad.

-oh by the way here's unicron and the matrix at the last second

-how did starscream become air commander when he's such a wuss?

-bumblebee still can't speak, ripping off the movies

-here's a bunch of weapons (polarity gauntlet, immobilizer). let's never use them again.

-loads of generic decepticon vehicons for generic battles

-airachnid is a stupid name, and she feels to me like a rip-off of blackarachnia, with a little lockdown originally thrown in.

-12 year old kid can understand the beeps of a space robot for no reason, and can hack just about anything (what security?)

i dunno, i'm ranting now. i don't hate everything, megatron is pretty good even if he lacks charisma.

Guys, it's not the quality of the stories I'm saying are bad, it's just that I feel TF lost something. If there is one thing I want Prime to do is that I want that Timeless feeling. What is happening now is that many people recognize TF but for the wrong reasons.

Just because Prime isn't doing it for you doesn't mean that Transformers is falling flat.

Try Rescue Bots or an older series.

Ditto on the clarification. Prime has that "timeless" feeling to me.

I mostly only read the new ongoings from IDW. But haven't been really excited for Transformers like I used to be. I gave up on Prime in the first season. Just to boring for me. I did like Animated though.

I still grin at the prospect of new TF material. I grinned like a fool while reading MTMTE, laughed at the recent Episode of Prime and it's Starscream. It's not quite as magical, but that's because I've grown up and, for lack of a better phrase, am not so easily entertained.

I echo the Bionicle sentiment, BTW. Now that was a story. (for about eight years before it became so overcomplicated and shifted focus completely away from the actual main characters and struggles) I think the reason I am so enthralled with it still despite being over is because it had a grand story from day one.

Sorry for my incorrect wording . It just I feel people only see Transformers now as action and it is impossible to get a Watchmen-like story. Prime is trying but I feel that something is missing.
You don't understand I love Prime.

So what you're saying is it's not as fun? Like it's trying to be too serious and it's lost its feeling of joy that one remembers fro their childhood when thinking about Transformers.

    Is that what you're saying?

You must have been asleep every time we see her partnership with Jack develop.

Which lead to an awesome twist that finally gives Optimus/Orion character.

You don't need strength to have a high rank. You need to be tactically intelligent. And you're about 28 years behind.

How can the writers rip off themselves? And hey, guess what, we're actually going to get an in continuity reason for it.

Oh? You've seen the entire show?

It gives the Autobots something to kill, so that there are actually casulaties in a war.

Please, elaborate. How is she like either of them?

We're going to get a reason for it. The show isn't over. You can't say "No reason" yet. It's possible for some kids to be geniuses. They aren't all the same.

    What?

Watchmen isn't trying to sell toys. And yes, that does make a difference.
