I waited till today, and now I have it.
Did anyone else wait until today?
Oh the irony.
I bought the DVD in september, and I bought the Bluray today
so yeah...I did double dipped...
Is there even anything worth it on this version? Deleted scenes? Or just all the making of stuff?
Extras for me.
The 3D version is just a bonus.
Too bad i cant even afford the cheapest blu ray right now
I skipped the initial release for this one, and I ordered it last night through Paramount's Transformers Facebook page for $20 shipped. Should arrive by Thursday.
Any new footage added to any of the movies in the 7 disc boxset .
In a way I kind of held out as the second copy I got was a gift for my Bday today.
I got my signature edt in the mail today as a gift for my birthday and let me say as far as bonus features go there is only making of, seven disks and on all of em a whole bunch of the making of. The only deleted scenes were three from Rotf and that was only like 10 mins.
Can anyone post the featturetes please?
No new footage. (and I double dipped lol)
I pre-ordered this version Blu-Ray. It hasn't arrived yet, but yeah, I resisted buying the bare bones version if that's what you mean.
No. I bought the bare bones and that's good enough for me, considering I only watch certain scenes and never watch the movie in its entirety. I don't even have an interest in the bonus features, so it worked out fine.
3D is a non issue for me, regardless of the movie. It gives me a headache.
I'm sorry to read that.
Hope it can happen soon.
That sucks no new added footage to the movie .
You know it man, and am I glad I did
I bought the first Blu-ray/DVD combo release as I didn't think I could wait. When I realized just how bare bones it was, I decided to give to my nephew for christmas. I didn't even watch it, but I did keep the $10 coupon for this. This actually turned out to be cheaper for me than if I had just bought the original version and kept it.
I bought the original Blu-Ray pack for less than $20 and opened it and watched it. I sold the case and the DVD to a girl at work for a Christmas present for her son for $10 and kept the $10 coupon and the Blu-Ray disc. I'm going to go tomorrow and get the 3D version with the $10 off coupon, just for the extras as I don't have a 3D TV. I'll also be giving the girl the original Blu-Ray disk. That way I had the Blu-Ray the whole time and still got the extras without monetarily double-dipping.
I wish amazon would get these in the mail already.
Well, bought the bare-bones one w/digital copy for $10 on Black Friday. Figured the $10 off coupon inside would cancel out my payment (plus, got a digital copy for my iphone/ipad).
A few weeks ago, sold the bare-bones set for $5 cash to a used DVD store, and was looking forward to using the $10 off coupon...until after an apartment fire, cleaners came through to get the smoke-smell out of my place, and the coupon disappeared.
Got the recent set last night at Target, and spent a few hours going over the Special Features. It was interesting in one of the vfx commentaries, they talked about how originally, the Decepticons were destroying skyscrapers, and the collapse of them was a way to create a barricade/fortress around Chicago. The FX guy lamented they didn't do that concept.
