Anyone else think that Rodimus is not the correct mold for wildrider?

I am really getting tempted to get all the stunticons at this point since a combiner is not in our cards just yet. Breakdown and Dragstrip have some nice representations. However, when I look at Wildrider, I just don't see it.

Anyone else think the same? If so, what mold would you like to see made into Wildrider? For me, I think Sunstreakers mold would work.

I'd rather see Breakdown using the Sunstreaker configuration, to be honest. Wildrider and Dead End frankly deserve their own new mold.

I don't really feel that the Classics Rodimus mold is the right mold for anyone.

Such a clunky Hot Rod figure...

Rodimus doesn't work for Rodimus, TBH.

With FunPub's upcoming subscription service and G1 Brakedown, I wonder if Dead End and Wildrider would be considered options down the road. I have and like the Gentei exclusive, but no it's not a great fit for Wildrider. I've been hoping for at least Dead End from Jazz.

I like Sunstreaker for Dead End and Windcharger for Jazz.

Isn't there a repaint of ROTF Breakdown in Wildrider colours coming out in Asia?

Considering how bad the toy is... THIS.

Really, compared to other Classics, he lacks a good deal of articulation. The chest transformation bit is prone to wearing out at the hinge, and those god awful arms can't be bent without the very noticeable gap where his elbows should be.

Only saving grace is the 3rd Party Protector set. Seriously.

They should honestly release five brand new molds that can combine.

Hasbro should honestly just make a new "Titan Class", where they can release brand new combiners.

Without a doubt. Rodimus is a barely-passable rodimus.. he's definitely no wildrider.

But Sunstreaker/Sideswipe has been done to death, he's not the solution. They turn that poor guy into everything. I am not at all excited about TFCC's decision to trot it out yet again with Breakdown (though I understand why they did it), but I'm even less interested in buying that mold yet again as Wildrider. Yuck. That ranks right up there with buying another Prowl repaint for me. No thank you.

If he must be a repaint of someone, I humbly submit Blurr. But I'd rather all the stunticons just got new figures, even if they didn't combine (though obviously that would be best). Rodimus, too.

I'd be good with this. Then SE Dragstrip could be promoted to Slicks.

I'm in the minority who likes that Rodimus mold just because. I just like the way it looks, especially the Henkei version.

But I'm just sitting and hoping the Fansproject Stunticon rumor is true.

Rodimus was great for its time. But like all of the original classics (Yes, I went there) he's in sore need of an update.
